The lozenges will lower the levels of not try some mean toxins. This could promote nonusers to try tobacco and then become addicted to nicotine. this is appealing to children and teenagers. Cigarette smokers more addicted
Cigarette smokers are more hooked now than in the late 1980s. there has been a 12% increase dependence on nicotine since 1989. Doctors may have to increase the dose and duration of smoking cessation treatments and try different combinations of drugs on minimizing withdrawal symptoms. Remember acupuncture can get you to quit smoking.

Secondhand smoke increases heart attack risks
exposure to low levels of secondhand smoke can cause heart problems. Your blood vessels may constrict, blood clots occur, and a heart attack results. Secondhand smoke increases your risk by 25%.One year after smoking bans were put into place, heart attack rates dropped by 17% and continue to drop.
Smoking lowers IQ

Menthol masks the harshness of the nicotine and toxins, affects the way you smoke, and make smoking more deadly and addictive. Strokes in smokers
Smokers who have smoked over 100 cigarettes in their past and are now smoking have 2 ½ times more chance of a stroke than a women wo never smoked. It did not matter if you smoke 1or 10 cigarettes ad day. Former smokers had no increased risk compared to those still smoking. Only the smoking amount not the duration was a stroke factor.

Smoking while pregnant increases child’s risk of ADHD
Children with mothers smoke while they were pregnant were more than twice as likely to have ADHD than those mothers who did not smoke. Children who had the highest level of lead in their blood also had double risks for ADHD. Prenatal exposure to tobacco results in eight times more likelihood of ADHD. Although environmental factors may play a role in the disorder, genetics also plays a role. This study does not prove that the factors actually cause the disorder.

A vaccine for smokers
Since the late '80s the vaccine has been recommended for people 65 and older and those with chronic diseases or weakened immunity. It was recently recommended for asthma patients and now smokers. One of every five people in the U.S. smokes. The risk of pneumococcal pneumonia goes up with the number of years of smoking and with the number of cigarettes a person has smoked. Many smokers may already have other indications for vaccination, including chronic diseases and asthma.

Smokers are four times more likely to get pneumococcal disease than nonsmokers. About half of all cases in adults without chronic heart disease, lung disease, asthma or weakened immunity are linked to smoking. About three quarters of smokers also have a chronic condition that qualifies them for vaccination, but only a quarter of them get vaccinated. Chantix to quit smoking
this drug modifies a plant alkaloids called Cytsoine that blocks the nicotine receptor and yet releases dopamine. It blocks some of the withdrawal symptoms and reduces your reward from smoking. Nausea occurs in 50% of people taking this drug and other side effects as insomnia bad dreams and bowel symptoms are troubling. There is increased agitation, suicides, mood depression, and increased psychiatric illnesses. Clinical trials did not include those who had heart disease and chronic lung problems and are most in need of quitting smoking. An alternative to quit might be acupuncture. Cigarette companies fight back
Cigarette companies in New York City file lawsuit against anti-smoking signs that the picked the team teeth, diseased lungs, and a damaged brain. They say it violates the cigarette vendors free speech and should be removed. The suit says the government cannot force private parties to carry messages that are designed to prevent consumer deception and are not uncontroversial facts. They also claim federal anti-smoking rules prevent the local governments from interfering with cigarette advertising. Reuters, June 3, 2010
Why should you quit smoking?

Cigarette smoking is the main cause of preventable diseases in the United States. If you smoke, plan on dying 8 to 14 years earlier than your friends who do not smoke. People live with smokers, along with the smokers themselves, have nearly all the cases of lung cancer. They have a greater risk for throat, mouth, l cancers, pancreatic, kidney, bladder, and cervical cancers. Emphysema is a major result of smoking, they could do a dating lung disease destroying your ability to breathe normally.

Smoking is especially dangerous if you have heart or blood vessel disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes. If you live with a smoker your risk of fatal heart disease doubles. Your risk of stroke also increases. Women over 35, who take birth control pills and smoke, also have been increased risk of stroke or heart attacks. Smoking decreases the HDL or good cholesterol, and raises blood pressure.

If you live with someone who smokes you have three times the greater chance of having peptic ulcers. Fractures of the spine, hip, wrist are much greater in smokers. Sleep disorders are frequently found in smokers. As a smoker, you tend to get more colds and respiratory tract infections.

Passive exposure to smoking, increases your risk despite being a non-smoker. If you are in a very smoke-filled room for one hour with several smokers you inhale as many bad chemicals as if you i smoked 10 or more cigarettes yourself.

Smoking affects pregnant women and their unborn children. Their greater risk of miscarriages, stillborn, and lower birth weights of children. Your pregnancy may result in more frequent respiratory infections, chronic ear infections and asthma, and trouble breathing. A length recently highly suggest the possibility of attention deficit disorder in children whose mothers smoked. It may also be a factor in sudden infant death syndrome. If you smoke, your children’s usually become cigarette smokers themselves.

Switching to pipes and cigars do not lower your risk of the disease. You have the same risk for cancer of the mouth, lips, larynx, and esophagus as cigarette smokers. If you use snuff, or smokeless tobacco chewing tobacco, your risk of cancer of the mouth rises enormously. Mouth cancer develops relatively quickly within 10 to 15 years after beginning to chew or snuff.
